This is the true story of the courtship of "John Honey" Taylor, a
backwoods Tennessee farm boy, and Betty Cravens, a wealthy town girl prior to the Civil War.
Their courtship has to withstand strong family opposition and a great many trials before
finally culminating in marriage. "John Honey" is a picture book targeted at

Set in verse, monsters continually interfere in bedtime with all kinds of ordinary and extraordinary antics. Every time they went to the store, all Mommy and Daddy heard was, "Gimme candy. Gimme a car. Gimme a dolly. Gimme this; gimme that. Why can't I have? I'll be good if . . ." Mommy and Daddy got sick and tired of their Gimme Kids. With the Christmas season approaching, they devised a plan to help their family be more Christ-like for Christmas. "Sawyer and the Naughty Little Mouse" - The manuscript is completed. _____________________ "Terrance the Termite" - Terrance is a very picky eater. The manuscript is completed. _____________________ "Tatyanna's Bump" - This is the story of a 5-year old girl as she goes through the procedures necessary to remove a large cell growth tumor. The story is realistic, honest, and positive. Explaining all the pre-op procedures, this is a great story for a child having surgery. The manuscript is completed. |
